What are Popular Databases
Popular Databases appear on the right-hand side of the HeinOnline welcome page. These are determined by the most frequently accessed databases across all HeinOnline users. However, library or institutional administrators can customize this list for their own institution.
How to Select Popular Databases
To set your institution’s Popular Databases, complete the Administrator Request Form.
Note: Be sure to use the same email address associated with your MyHein account.
Once approved by our Support team, the Popular Databases option will appear in your MyHein menu.
HeinOnline automatically selects your institution’s Popular Databases. To customize them, star the databases you want featured on your institution’s welcome page, then click Submit Popular Databases. Once you are finished choosing the popular databases within MyHein, select the Return to Welcome Page button.
When you return to the HeinOnline welcome page, your institution’s selected Popular Databases will appear on the right-hand side of the page for all users.
Popular Databases Administrator Request
Admins and librarians may request to become administrators so that they can control which popular databases are displayed on their institution’s welcome page.
